The Science Department at SRVHS is committed to providing your son or daughter with the best science education available.  For this reason we  ask for your support by making a donation to the SRVHS-Science.  This donation will help maintain the quality of our laboratory courses, demonstrations, provide supplies, chemicals and specimens, repair equipment, maintain high safety standards, and allow us to upgrade equipment.  We would like to thank you in advance for your continued and generous support.  It is truly and warmly appreciated.  Without your donations, our laboratory science program would not be as strong.

We would like to recommend a minimum lab donation of $40.00 (or any amount you feel you can afford at this time) per student for the school year.   We will also accept donations of supplies such as: office supplies; scientific equipment, such as microscopes, balances, glassware, are always welcome donations.

_____1.   Students: I alone are responsible for my learning; no one else can learn for me. I am responsible for scheduling makeup work within expected time limits. I am also responsible for my own behavior and attitude. I am responsible for attending class and participating fully.

____2. Parents/Guardians will be monitoring the student's assignments via online homework calendar and progress on School Loop.

___ 3.Parents/Guardians and Students understand that incomplete work will be redone in a timely manner, and the last day to receive full credit for an assignment is the day of the unit test (regardless of absences). Assignments received after unit tests will only receive a maximum of 75% credit. The last day to turn in late, redone, or extra credit assignments is the first day of the week before the week of final exams. Also that semester grades are not rounded up due to the curving method of unit tests.

___4. Parents/Guardians and Students understand that Test Corrections are optional and allow students to recover 1/4% per question if test correction procedures are followed completely. Quiz Corrections are also optional and worth a maximum of 75% if test correction procedures are followed.
